Why "WeLetter.com 

I used to look forward to going to the mailbox as a kid. I would ask my mom "Mom - can I go check the mail?"  I would bring back stacks of "junk" mail, but every now and then I'd get a card or a letter on my birthday or some other special occasion.

Letters mean something.

People keep letters. They become keepsakes, journal entries or part of family history. 

Today with email and texting - many letters get lost or deleted in error. WeLetter.com is an attempt to bring back the wonderful feelings that come with sending and receiving letters.

So many people love to get letters.

I recently asked my kids - when was the last time you received a letter. To my surprise a few of them have never received a letter in his lifetime.  Most had received birthday cards with notes - and assured me they have them as keepsakes forever.

I don't know how many times I've thought to myself - "I need to send Mom, Dad, an old friend or a past teacher a letter".  The thought is "nice" but as busy as life is - it's hard to take the time to sit down, find letterhead and then finalize by stamping the envelope and taking it to the post office. To those of you who make the time - you're great examples to me. But for the rest of us who like convenience - we're here to help.
